Find the intersection line between two oblique planes. Technical drawing.

Orthographic projection

Find the intersection line between two oblique planes. The h trace of this line is in the second quadrant.

The intersection line of these two planes has an H trace, hidden. When the horizontal plane is flat, the projection H one will remain above the ground line. The intersection of the vertical traces of the planes, gives us a single point V, defined by its vertical projection v two. We draw, perpendicularly to the ground line, its horizontal projection v one.

The horizontal traces of the planes are not parallel, so they will be cut if we prolong them, drawing their hidden parts. These traces are cut in the H trace of the intersection line. We found his projection H two, on the ground line. The V two trace, is at the top of the ground line, therefore you will find yourself in the first quadrant

. She divides the visible and hidden part of the line. We join the projections H one with V one, to draw the horizontal projection of the line. and join the projections H two with V two, to draw the vertical projection I two, of this line of intersection. In this case, from the V-Trace, to the right, it will be visible. And to the left will be hidden. The projections of the line, beyond its traces, are prolonged.
